I am fascinated by textures (of vegetation and other materials), by their interplay and their effect on our perception of space and a place. Colour plays a role as well, but it seems so often that its tone is far more important than the colour itself which makes it somewhat subordinate to the interplay of light and shade, softeness and sharpness of the edges of a variety of forms that at different scales produce fascinating textures...
